Add Mute / Unmute option to screen recordings

Currently, once we hit the record button we cannot readjust audio settings. We have ability to use the “include system audio” feature and I use it a lot when recording Zoom meetings.

The problem I encounter is that I don’t want a hot mic picking up me typing, coughing and sneezing on a recorded video conference so I choose to select the “system audio only” option. Only now, if I am asked to contribute, the recording doesn’t pick up me talking. It only records everyone else’s responses.

Adding a mute / unmute or mic on / off button (just like Zoom and Teams have) would resolve this and would be greatly appreciated!

This is what happens if I have both system audio and my mic on. A Mute button eliminates the echo / reverb but if I unmute to talk we would probably still get the same echo. A fix seems difficult but would be greatly appreciated!
