For some reason, when I try to record my screen, the Browser crashes. It happens on both Chrome and on Microsoft Edge. Also, I can record from my web cam, I just can’t record my screen. It will even allow me to record one Tab in a browser but again, if I try to record my whole screen it crashes every time.
I feel it is my computer not Dubb because it crashes the same way if I am using the Chrome Extension or, if I try to record from within the Dubb site after logging in.
I just don’t know what, on my computer is causing it and was hoping someone else had the same problem.
I am on the free version at the moment until I finish getting my in home studio set up.
Hi @teamcuellar, Microsoft Edge does not support Dubb as of the moment. For Chrome, you may try to uninstall the Chrome Browser, reboot your computer, and reinstall the Chrome Browser. If the issue persists, please email us the following:
your Chrome browser version (e.g. 80.0.3987.163)
your computer’s operating system version (e.g. Windows 10 / Mac OS Catalina v 10.15.3)
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome with no luck.
My Chrome Version is 89.0.4389.90
My operating System is Windows 10 Home, Version 20H2.
My system shows it was installed on 3/17/2021. I’m guessing that ight be an update because I have had Windows 10 on this machine for years now.
I also show an OS Build 19042.867
and Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0
I don’t have an external Mic or Camera, I have always used what is built in.
Hi @teamcuellar, we apologize for the delays here! Are you still experiencing this error? You may opt to clear the cache of your browser if it’s still persisting.
Hi, yes, I have cleared cache, removed and reinstalled dubb, removed and reinstalled Chrome, as I mentioned in the video, I even went back several weeks and removed any recent Microsoft updates. I even cleared all history along with Cache just to be certain I didn’t miss anything. Also, I tried doing a full screen recording while in my dubb account and not using the Chrome Extension and still it crashes.
