I just bought a new laptop with 32 GB RAM.
When I use my Logitech camera, I have zero problems with Zoom or any other platform. The video quality is normally very good or at least very acceptable.
When I record myself with Dubb, the performance is awful.
My motions are jerky, and the sound isn’t synched up to my movements. It’s so bad it actually disincentivizes me from sending videos.
Is there someone that can help me figure this out?
Hey Murray
Thanks for asking for help!
When you use Zoom are you using the desktop app or the browser version?
If you are using Dubb in the browser, with other tabs, apps, other things using your camera, this can cause performance issues with Dubb, more related to the browser/ specific device performance than the platform.
In this case we recommend using the Dubb desktop app- from Download Dubb App for Windows and MAC OS - Video Communication Platform
and trying recording there
Alternatively, you can try closing down some other tabs/apps etc to free up some of the computers performance (if you have a lot of stuff open)
We have only seen this issue of audio/video getting out of sync when the device/computer itself is performing poorly, or is already running many other programs, causing interference.
