Watch Video Analytics Not Working Always

Hi, congrats to the Dubb team, what a great plastform build up! Unfortunately the Watch video analytics is not stable working.

For specific distributed videos that have been:

  • half-watched by the recipient, but the Dubb analytics shows those videos icons as fully watched
  • fully watched by the recipinet, but the Dubb analytics shows those videos icons as fully watched

Why is that? How can it get fixed?

There are some use cases where tracking will behave oddly. These are mostly related to browser privacy settings. These occur when a user disables cookie-based tracking where our system has to make assumptions. We are constantly looking to improve our system given various constraints so we can report back on this if there are updates.
